Boomerang Marine & Sports Is Heading to the Northern Off-Road Expo in Brainerd — April 10–11, 2026
Spring is here — and so is the first major off-road event of the season in central Minnesota. The Northern Off-Road Expo 2026 is coming to Brainerd on April 10–11, and the team at Boomerang Marine & Sports will be on the floor with two machines worth making the drive to see.
If you've been debating a UTV purchase, waiting to sit in something before you commit, or just looking for a reason to get out of the house before the trails officially open — this is your event.
What Is the Northern Off-Road Expo?
The Northern Off-Road Expo is a brand-new Minnesota show built specifically for the off-road community — ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, custom builds, aftermarket gear, and the vendors who know this world inside and out. It's being held at the Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd, and the timing couldn't be better: right as Central Minnesota riders are shaking off winter and starting to think seriously about the season ahead.
This isn't a generic outdoor show with a couple of sleds in the corner. It's built around the off-road enthusiast specifically — the kind of event the Midwest has needed for a long time.
- Friday, April 10: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday, April 11: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Northern Pacific Center — 1511 Northern Pacific Road, Brainerd, MN
- Admission: $10 general admission | Kids 12 & under FREE
- Live entertainment, prize giveaways, food trucks, and a kids' zone
Brainerd is a natural home for this kind of event. The Brainerd Lakes Area is a hub for Minnesota outdoor culture — and with the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area's trail system just down the road, riders from across the region already make it a regular stop.
Boomerang Is Bringing Two Machines Worth Seeing — Come Find Us
We're loading the trailer and heading to Brainerd. Here's what we're bringing to the Northern Off-Road Expo 2026:
The CFMoto UFORCE Highland — A Full-Cab UTV Built for Minnesota
If you haven't seen the CFMoto Highland in person yet, this is your chance. It's a full-cab, climate-controlled side-by-side that's genuinely built for riding in conditions Minnesota actually throws at you — not just mild California trail days.
The Highland runs a 998cc triple-cylinder engine producing 88 horsepower, which is serious grunt for a utility-focused machine. The sealed cab features power windows, a sound-dampening headliner, and an 8-inch RideSync® display with Apple CarPlay. You can dial between Work and Normal drive modes depending on whether you're hauling across the back forty or hitting trails. It tows over 2,500 pounds and carries up to a 1,000-lb bed payload.
With 13 inches of ground clearance and selectable 2WD/4WD/locking differential, this machine doesn't ask what the conditions are — it just goes.
Best for: Farmers, landowners, and trail riders who want one machine that works all week and plays all weekend — without freezing in October.
A Polaris UTV in the Mix Too
We're also bringing a Polaris UTV to the floor. Polaris has long been the benchmark for side-by-sides in Minnesota, and the 2026 lineup delivers on every front — from the workhorse RANGER series to the trail-shredding RZR. Come sit in it, ask questions, and talk through which configuration fits your riding style.
Our team will be there both days. No pressure, no scripts — just real conversations about which machine makes sense for your trails, your property, or your family.
Why the Northern Off-Road Expo Matters for Minnesota Riders
For a long time, central Minnesota off-road enthusiasts had to drive to the Twin Cities or sit out the indoor show season entirely. The Northern Off-Road Expo changes that — this is a dedicated event in the backyard of some of the best riding country in the state.
Shows like this matter because nothing replaces sitting in a machine before you buy it. Reading specs online is one thing. Actually getting in the cab, grabbing the wheel, and talking to someone who rides these things in Minnesota conditions — that's the conversation that leads to a decision you'll feel great about for years.
Whether you're already deep into your search or just starting to think about adding a UTV to the mix, come find Boomerang Marine & Sports on the floor. We'll be the ones next to the Highland with the MN plates and the coffee.
